Dr Karen Addy, Bsc, Msc, DClinPsych, QiCN, CPsychol, AFBPsS.Dr Karen Addy is a Consultant Neuropsychologist and Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience both in private practice and NHS services including medico legal, capacity and criminal case work for courts. She specialises in Adult Neuropsychology providing therapy and assessment of a wide range of neurological conditions including acquired brain injuries, strokes, MS, Parkinson’s disease, spinal injuries and degenerative disorders. She trained in Clinical Psychology at the University of Manchester before moving to North Wales in 2005. She has additional post-doctoral training in Clinical Neuropsychology and is registered on the Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists with the British Psychological Society. She is also a qualified Cognitive Analytic Therapist using this approach in her Neurological therapy practice. Dr Addy has wide experience of working in and leading Multidisciplinary teams, support worker teams and supervising other professionals including Clinical Psychologists. Dr Addy is also the Clinical Practice Director in Neuropsychology at Salomons Institute of Psychology Canterbury Christ Church University in a part time (0.4 WTE) role. Dr Addy provides neuropsychological therapy at 65 High Street, Bangor LL65 1NR. Her medico legal assessment practice covers a much wider area with regular clinics in Bangor and Liverpool.
